Club 24 Athletics Foundation was established in 2021 by Kerry Goodleaf and Greg Horn, Mohawks of Kahnawà:ke, who have committed their lives to lacrosse and growing the game.
At the beginning, Club 24 was an idea to give Kahnawà:ke's lacrosse players the opportunity to train at a high-level year round with the goal off getting them exposure to post-secondary educational institutions in both Canada and the United States.
Why 24? The number 24 was worn by Kerry's brother, the late Winston Goodleaf. Affectionately known to his friends and family as Winny, Winston was a talented lacrosse player and wrestler, who thrived to compete at the highest levels and wanted to better those around him. It is in his spirit that Club 24 operates.
At Club 24 Athletics Foundation, it is our goal to foster a culture of excellence in our athletes and help them achieve their goals in competition, school, and in life.
Our mission at Club 24 Athletics Foundation is to help Onkwehón:we athletes reach the next level in both academics and in sports. We provide sponsorship support, guidance, and aim to create the proper athletic and educational environment for youth athletes to prosper.
